DO NOT COMPARE MY BODY WITH AN ANIMAL
DO NOT COMPARE MY BODY WITH AN ANIMAL
DO NOT COMPARE MY BODY WITH AN ANIMAL
DO NOT COMPARE MY BODY WITH AN ANIMAL

I’m sorry, why? Are you a plant? Are you a mushroom? Are you an alien? Are you not part of the tree of life like every single living organism on this planet?

OK, first, plants, mushrooms and aliens are living creatures (well, if aliens exists, i don’t know). Do we eat plants and mushrooms anyways? Yeah
The fact that this post compares my and any women’s body with a piece of meat that can be taken in any moment is outrageous. Do you need more than sensory pleasure to justify the fact that people eat meat? Ok, go and show this shitty post to women in Greenland for example, do you know how the weather in Greenland is? The average temperature in Nuuk ranges from -9 ° C to 7 ° C. Do you think any vegetable can grow in a weather like that? Maybe, with the right technology, but really, do all people have access to it? hell no. They survive mainly with seal and whale meat. Are you saying that people in Greenland deserve to be raped because of that?
Seriously, I hate when vegans believe that because we eat meat, that means that we enjoy killing and torturing animals. I’m against circus with animals, I’m against fur coats, I’m against these sociopath kids that enjoy torturing dogs and cats in the streets, but I still eat meat, why? Because I’m an omnivore, and meat is part of my diet.
Rape is part of anyone diet? Rape is necessary for anyone to survive?
That’s because I said it and I’m saying it again
DO NOT COMPARE MY BODY WITH AN ANIMAL

Yes, you are against inflicting pain on animals as long as it doesn’t inconvenience you. No one likes it. But not many dislike it strongly enough to change something as arbitrary and small as their diet.
As for using people who genuinely struggle to survive and have no choice but to eat anything they can, you should be ashamed of yourself. Killing in self-defence exists, but hopefully you don’t go around shooting people because murder is justifiable in some cases. I’ll let this quote say the rest.
“‘If you were alone on a deserted island with a pig, would you eat the pig or starve to death?’ Hmm. If you were not alone, living on a planet with 7 billion people, had access to unlimited fresh fruits, vegetables, nuts, beans, and other healthy foods, and knew animals suffer and die horrible deaths so you could eat them when you don’t need to eat them to survive, would you continue to eat them? The difference between our questions is that your scenario will never happen and mine is the choice you face right now. Which do you believe is worth answering?”
As for insisting I don’t compare your body to an animal’s body - again, why?
Can you tell me why exactly I should accept that you’re more special, more important, more deserving, more worthy than other living, feeling, sentient women and mothers of Earth?
That mindset has been repeating itself constantly and endlessly since the dawn of our species. Someone was always less intelligent, less beautiful, less capable - simply not like us - and that always meant they were undeserving, unworthy and unimportant.
Species… the ultimate privilege.

This post compares an event that may cause a lifetime trauma with eating a pice of fried chicken, and I have to be ashamed of myself?
Yes, of course. You’re absolutely right.

This post points out that the world does not revolve around you.
The fact that you think an event that traumatizes your life is more important than billions of lives spent in confinement, filled with pain and suffering and despair, mothers being separated from their children, children being sent to slaughter, ones who have been drained completely, unable to stand on their feet let alone walk, their throats slaughtered the minute they are no longer profitable - and you are offended by my comparing that to an event that traumatizes a human’s life?

shut the fuck up, people have been eating meat forever and people will continue to eat meat forever. sorry to burst your fucking vegan bubble

In for a penny, in for a pound: people have also been raping women since forever.

i can’t believe the amount of people who have been commenting on this who didn’t even READ/PROCESS the quote. this is not an argument against people who live in parts of the world where they need to eat animals to survive. this is an argument against people who live in a place where they have the easy option to not support the torture and slaughter of animals, yet still choose to.
these latter people kill and eat animals purely because to them, it tastes good. it is not necessary to their survival in any means. a rapist rapes because it feels good to them—following essentially the same “logic.” obviously it is also completely unnecessary. both acts are extraordinarily fucked up; both acts have been going on forever. NEITHER of them should be continued; NEITHER of them are any more justifiable than the other.
"do not compare my body with an animal" — wait, seriously? why not? you are an animal. the animals that you pay someone to torture and murder were once just as much alive and sentient as you are. you are not more entitled to a good life just because you are a human. you are important, but you are not more important.*
i am vegan because i understand that non-human animals do not deserve such treatment. i was raped two years ago. am i still traumatized from this event? fuck yes. do i still have a whole list of issues because of it? yes i do. do you think animals, just because they can’t speak like humans do, deserve that and worse any more than i did? just because to you, they taste yummy?
*i am in no way trying to belittle rape victims. i am only trying to make clear that speciesism is brainwashing and has clouded many people’s minds. please recognize that everyone on this planet is equal.
your ignorance may be bliss for yourself, but it is also pain and misery for so many others.

Or how about instead of arguing we just accept that different people live different life styles, believe different things, eat different thinks, and go on with our lives????? I dont understand why we’re arguing about this vegans can be vegans and omnivores can be omnivores.

a lifestyle in which people actively support and pay for the systematic oppression/rape/torture/abuse/enslavement/murder of living beings is not a lifestyle that i can sit back and let happen.

Animals don’t get raped and then turned into food, look, I’m a vegetarian and working on going vegan, and I dont support oppression/torture/abuse/enslavement/murder either but theres no point in trying to force believes on people who aren’t gonna listen, you feel me?

whoa there, please educate yourself before trying to state facts! animals DO get raped in the industry. for example, all forms of dairy farming involve forcibly impregnating cows. if that’s not rape then please explain to me what you think it is.
the point in arguing our beliefs and standard of morality is to get the point across that murder is wrong—a concept that one would think people would understand by now.

The only thing wrong with this post is the line “do not compare my body to an animals”. That is just so like… I don’t even know. HUMANS are mammals and what is the definition of “mammal”? “a warm-blooded vertebrate animal of a class that is distinguished by the possession of hair or fur, the secretion of milk by females for the nourishment of the young, and (typically) the birth of live young.” So basically nobody was comparing your “body to an animal’s” because you ARE a fucking animal so there is no comparing needed. And besides, that is some ignorant shit since “animals” have been on this planet before HUMANS have. Let that one sink in. Now, nobody ever said that eating meat was wrong. Because you’re right, people have been eating meat since the beginning of mankind. But guess what? People used to bless the animal and then say a PRAYER for that animal that they killed. Why? Because they knew that no matter how hard it was, hunting is something that had to happen and they also weren’t ignorant and didn’t think they were above the animal. No they knew they were EQUAL with the animal. But then fucking technology came along and what happened? The blessings stopped. The prayers stopped. Torturing and mutilation started happening. Experimentation started happening. So the next fucking time you’re ignorant enough to say that nobody should compare your “body” to an animal’s body, just remember that you ARE AN ANIMAL and this is what people do to animals and trust me people will not hesitate to these exact same things to you. And if you don’t like that idea then maybe you should re think your goddamn morals.

The last comment should basically have everyone left with not much else to say. People just need to come to terms with the fact that most vegans/vegetarians feel very prideful and good about what they do and they have every right to. Many of them are firm in their beliefs and love animals so much that it is in fact quiet hard to sit back and endure the insensitivity that many, many , many people show in regards to the well being of animals..without commenting. You have to see things from different perspectives. Once you educate yourselves and I mean REALLY educate yourselves on the meat industry and the human life/diet before dairy farms and meat factories ,and all of this technology etc. It becomes a lot easier to understand why some vegans/veggies get very easily hot and bothered by selfish people who spew false facts out of their ass in the spur of the moment just to hide the mere truth that they know what they are doing is wrong. The argument from a non vegan/veggie always ends in “well people have always been eating meat so blah blah blah.” Well guess what that’s not gonna keep vegans/vegetarians from educating society and trying to turn more people into non meat eaters. Go ahead watch some videos about slaughterhouses and then try to fully enjoy chowing down on your chemically infused burger that an innocent life was lost for.

First world humans are just so fucking ignorant. Don’t even try and argue with me it’s the truth. Obviously there are good people, but good people aren’t perfect. How do some of us not even know we are animals?? We have become so dumbed down that some of us seem to thing we are an entirely different thing. Are we the aliens then? I’m just so done to be honest… After today I’m going 100% vegetarian. One day vegan but I love my Mac and cheese too much rn
